Well, today I have added this article on what happened during the "ikla tal-Mulej", which is practically a reanactment of Jesus' Last supper.

"L-Ikla tal-Mulej"

It was the 27th of March and we met at 7:00pm on the Parish's Parvis. At 7:30 the busses picked us up and we went to Dun Karm's Hall. We formed a circle and started to pray and eat together so as to reanact what the apostles done 2000 years ago. We ate bread without yeast with a Jewish Sauce and Lamb. Dun Karm washe our hands for us to remember when Jesus washed the apostle's feet. We prayed and recited some psalms from the bible and also drank some wine.

This was a beatiful experience and in the name of all wednesday's group we wish to thank everybody who worked for this activity to be a success.

Easter Exterem Games
Last Friday (5 th April) a group of leaders from all round Europe came to our youth center. They came to see how a typical ZAK in Malta works. Our leaders decided to organize some games. These games were all about Easter. We were all divided into 4 different groups and named 'Figolla blu', 'Bajda hamra', 'Fellus isfar', 'Caramell ahdar'.

Different games were organized. For the first one we had to dress someone from our group. Something made out of a garbage bag, cardboard, colored paper, newspaper and tape. The type of dress had to represent an Easter item.

The next game consisted of passing an egg from one person to another with out touching it with our hands. (We had to use our necks). In this game only two groups succeeded. The others broke all the eggs given.

Another game consisted of throwing an egg from 2 storeys high without breaking it. We wrapped it with straws and tape. One of the groups were immediately disqualified because they broke the egg before wrapping it.

I decided to make the latest news on this page so as it would be much more accessable. Today I also have a short report of what happened on the hike which was organised for the Wednesday group

Hike
It was the 26th March and we met at 9:30 near the Bus Terminus. At 10:00 we left for Buskett on foot. Dorothy and Gabriella were the two leading girls, always at the front (even they didn't know the road! hehe). We listned to music while we were walking and when we arrived at Buskett so ate, while others played and there were some who even slept.

The first game we played was a rough one but it was fun. We all lied down with our tummies on the ground and formed a tight circle. We all held on tight together and there was a group outside the circle who tried to pull us apart. The second game was the Dragon game. In this game there were the dragons and the knights. The dragons were a group of 3 or more youths holding on to eachother like a conga line withg the last person having a handkerchief in their pants like a tail. The knigths were 2 youngsters on piggy back and the top person had to try and grab the handkerchief. We then built a human pyramid (there soon will be a photo of this complete pyramid!). This was made up of 5 persons at the bottom and i might say it was quite a big pyramid. This day ended with a sneek attack by Maria and Lionella on Stephen (me) and they trew water on him (well Maria ended up just as wet but Liionellas punishment is still to come, I finished the water hehe).

This day was the bomb and we ended up very tiered. At about 4:00 we left for Zurrieq. We really wish to do it all again

It is important to note that "l-ikla tal-Mulej" ISN'T going to take place in the centru Pastorali but in Hal Far. We will still be meeting on the parish parvice. Today Wednesday's group went on the Hike to Buskett and it was very fun (and tiring). I hope to upload more details and photos in the Future. Well that is all for now, Bye Bye.
